Extensions are now on Illarin

Extensions now have a place on Illarin. You can share and discover Spindle extensions for Lumiverse and SillyTavern extensions alongside characters, lorebooks, presets, themes and packs. Whether you’re looking for something to add to your setup or sharing something you built, extensions get their own pages with descriptions, pictures and details drawn from their files.

See what an extension adds

An extension’s page brings together its README, manifest details and any pictures its creator adds. Where Illarin can identify them in the code, it also lists additions such as commands, macros, tools, interface features and generation hooks. That gives you a place to learn what an extension does before installing it. Illarin reads the code without running it, so this list may not include everything an extension adds.

Download it or send it to your app

You can download the uploaded archive or send it to a linked app that supports extension installs. If you send it, the extension’s page shows its progress from queued to picked up to installed. New installs arrive disabled. You choose when to turn them on, and apps ask you to approve any declared permissions before the extension first runs.

Share what you’ve built

To list an extension, upload an archive containing the manifest your app already uses. There’s no Illarin-specific manifest to write. Illarin uses the README and manifest to prepare the page. From there, you can edit the description, add pictures and arrange the page to explain your work. Downloads contain the archive exactly as you uploaded it. Editing your listing doesn’t rewrite the extension’s files. You can also link its repository so readers can find the source.

Find your next addition

Browse extensions for your app, take a look at what people are building, or upload one of your own. Looking forward to seeing what you share.
